it isnt that i’ve never had my idol b4, but the time span is usually quite short, about 3-6 months..

this time, it’s different.. time passes by and i realise that i just love you more, love everything about you.. love your cuteness, your beautiful eyes, your sweet voice, your shyness, your hard-working, your talents, your gentleness…

when i first saw Min, he was nothing special to me. at that time, all my attention was on Kangin, Heechul & Donghae. Kangin & Heechul they are so outstanding, so witty and talkative that noone could resist their attractiveness. Donghae, he is simply PERFECT (still now i see him as the most perfect guy i’ve ever known^^)

But Min is different, he is shy, timid.. apart from ‘wu-ri Super Junior’ greeting, he hardly says any words. In many SJ vids i watched, Min usually just smiles & focusing on singing, his expressions are little. He quietly stands at the egde or behind other members.. when i wrote to this line, i remember Kibum is also ‘infamous’ as being alone. but somehow, Kibum gives me totally different feeling. It’s loneliness… as for Min, it’s shyness, it’s willingness to be in the ‘background’ position ..

even though Min’s images are not captured as many times as others’ but have you ever noticed that in his few pix, you always can see him taking care of his brothers?

I dont want to make comparison, but have to say that the two most beautiful pairs of eyes, in my opinion, which are Donghae’s & Sungmin’s are completely of contrast.. While Hae’s eyes are bright, simple; Min’s are of no expression. Happy, sad, angry, tired.. all emotions can be seen as long as you look into Hae’s eyes. Hae’s such an adorable kid that makes everybody wanna give him love and care.. But Min’s eyes give a warm feeling & show that their owner is a trustworthy man..

Although Min once said that ‘provided that you look into my eyes, you will want to protect me’, but in fact, his gaze never tells that, or at least that’s to me.. It isnt Min doesnt want to be loved but i think he just doesnt want everybody to be worried about him, doesnt like to let others see his own vulnerability..

A little known fact is that Sungmin doesn’t actually like to receive gifts, especially expensive ones.

He will accept clothing as long as its nothing that was too expensive (such as brand clothing, he’ll take it back to the girls that give it to him). He mentioned before that fans bought him a laptop and he returned it to them and another time he received a nice digital camera and he returned it to the fansite that bought it for him.

He says various things like spend the money on food for yourself, or for books for school, and his most favorite, for gifts for your parents.

This is also why perMINent will never spend too much money on gifts for him and we plan to do fundraisers for good causes in the near future. Our goal is to make him happy and buying expensive gifts isn’t the way to do it! Which shows how much of a humble man he is really ♥

Hamburgers!

He’s said he loves hamburgers multiple times and Daniel said before that Sungmin is his happiest when he has a hamburger in front of him. His favorite fast food restaurant is also McDonald’s.

This is kind of an embarrassing story xD But Sungmin said it, so if he didn’t want everyone to know it, he shouldn’t have said it on the radio lol

So Sungmin was in Elementary School and he went to the bathroom. He pooped, for lack of a better term lol, and right when he finished the bell rang for everyone to go to class. At that same time, Sungmin realized he had ran out of toilet paper! But all the other boys had left the bathroom to go to class!

So Sungmin had to wait for an hour for the next bell to ring before someone came into the bathroom and he could ask them for some toilet paper.

And Kangin was saying “ewww I can’t imagine our Sungminnie doing that.” And Shindong was like “For an hour?! It had to be dried!”

And Sungmin said “It was very difficult, my legs were hurting!”

So I couldn’t sleep and was listening to old Chunji episodes and here is a cute story from a November 2006 episode.

Sungmin: I almost died because of a bed.

Sungmin: My brother and I shared a bunk bed in middle school and you know how people fall off bunk beds a lot. I slept on the top bunk, and it was higher than most bunk beds and one night i woke up and found half my body hanging off the bed! I was really surprised! I just opened my eyes and saw my brother sleeping!
And then I went home recently after not being there for a really long time, and I noticed new furniture in the house. I went into my parents room to let them know that I was here and i was like, “MOM! I’M HOME~!” and i jumped on my parents bed and my entire body just went completely numb. My parents changed their bed to dolchimdae (stone mattress) but it was covered with all the blankets and I just jumped on it because my parents bed was really poofy before. So I wanted to *imitates bouncing off the bed* but I had no idea it was dolchimdae.

Sungmin was on a show in June 2006 with Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, and Ryeowook called Hello Chat and they were discussing their first kisses.

Sungmin said his first kiss was during the winter break between ending middle school and starting high school, so right after his 3rd year middle school and right before 1st year high school. He said his first kiss was with a noona that he really liked a lot ^^

In fact, before debut, I didn’t think that I was suitable to be an entertainer. I’m not good at expressing myself, I haven’t been to a nightclub so far. It’s not I don’t have chance to do so, I just don’t know what to do after going there, I don’t smoke, I don’t drink either.
While recording OPPA Band, I don’t know how to make things become funny, Shin Dong Yup sunbaenim(*) and Tak Jae Hoon sunbaenim always by my side to help me.

sungmin: i share a room with kyuhyun and he seriously stays up till 5 in the morning on a date with the computer
kyuhyun: yea~ but it’s not like i’m doing bad things~ till 5 in the morning–
sungmin: what do you mean “bad things”?
kyuhyun: [stuttering like the entire time] like, bad sites..wait no, not sites..like for example..i’m not playing bad games..i just stay up till 5 am in order to improve myself. What about you sungmin?
sungmin: i go to sleep early and i wake up early. i’m a student in new world [??? idk but it’s like this phrase for good kids]
kyuhyun: i know seriously! the night before we went to japan EVERYONE stayed up but sungmin was the only one who actually slept and went.
sungmin: i have a sleep schedule/time, if i pass it completely then i’m okay but i have to follow the schedule otherwise.
kyuhyun: i share a room with sungmin and donghae and donghae’s always playing the piano and the drums and whatnot saying that he’s making music and i’m always listening to music or watching a drama and we always have the light on but somehow he still manages to sleep! he can sleep so easily, it’s annoying..
kangin: oh yea i know, i wanted to sleep too but i had to pack and stuff so i couldn’t and i was wondering what he was doing and he was all sleeping! with his mouth hanging wide open..[kangin imitates sungmin]
sungmin: NOO~ don’t say that stuff~
kangin: no but you really sleep like that a lot.
kyuhyun: we poured water in there once.
sungmin: REALLY?!
kyuhyun: and he still wouldn’t wake up. amazing.
